Advanced Care for Post-Stroke or Brain Injuries

There are two steps to start as soon as a stroke or brain injury has occurred:
  1. Oxygen Therapy

  2. Antioxidant Therapy

The sooner these steps are started, the better the chances to regain and maintain a higher level of function in life. These steps are described below.

THESE STEPS ARE VERY IMPORTANT. Without taking the steps needed, the brain may be unable to recover abilities lost that may be rehabilitated. When a nerve dies all the nerves connected to it no longer received vital stimulation and so die. This sets off a chain reaction of continual nerve death after stroke or injury. After 6-12 months, the damage may be permanent.

Antioxidant Therapy:

  • Oxicell can be used to assist raising intracellular levels of glutathione (an extremely powerful antioxidant found in every cell).
  • Sublingual Methylcobalamin
  • Vitamin B-12 shots 2-3x/the 1st week.
  • MethylSP for next 4 months
  • Use the following at 10 drops,6x/daily for 10 days:
  • DHEA Sublingual Drops
  • Progesterone Sublingual Drops
  • Pregnenolone Sublingual Drop

Additional Treatments:

Taking glutathione intravenously will best boost your cellular glutathione levels. Oral supplement does not boost cellular glutathione levels, since it breaks down in the digestive tract before it reaches the cells.

I recommend:

  • 3000-5000 MG of Glutathione/IV bag

  • 3000-5000 MG of Alpha Lipoic Acid/IV bag

  • Eat before the IV drip.

  • Use 1x a week until you have completed 30 treatments total.

The next best way to raise cellular glutathione levels is using Oxicell. It is a cream, so is absorbed directly by the skin.

Oxygen Therapy:

Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy is a treatment during which the patient breaths 100% oxygen while being enclosed in a pressurized chamber at greater than normal atmospheric pressure.

While breathing pure oxygen, the patient's blood plasma becomes saturated, carrying 20 to 30 times the normal amount of oxygen to the body's tissues. The ultimate result is the natural wound-healing mechanisms of the body, which are oxygen dependent, are able to function more efficiently.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) has been employed for more than three decades, originally used to relieve scuba and deep-see divers of decompression sickness (or "the bends"). Today, HBOT is gaining widespread recognition for its value in new applications in the field of neuro-regeneration.

HBOT Benefits:

  • Reduces gas bubbles (a crucial component when treating arterial gas embolisms).

  • Reduces blood flow by 20% while the body tissues continue to be hyper-oxygenated, thereby decreasing the loss of plasma and reducing edema. This is extremely useful in the treatment of cerebral edema.

  • Continued HBOT use increases immune and healing response

  • Using HBOT continuously also promotes a bactericidal effect - halting the growth of anaerobic organisms.

I recommend HBOT to my patients as the best investment to save someone's vitality. It decreases the progression of the damage done by the stroke - stopping the domino effect of nerve cell death.

Doing Oxygen Therapy at Home:

  1. Get an oxygen concentrator.

  2. Use 90% oxygen.

  3. Breathe for 10-20 minutes. (Note: if you feel light headed, stop the therapy and resume at a later time. )
